MEET OUR TEAM

Healing begins with people, uniting clinical excellence and human connection.

Dr. Casey Paleos

Chief Medical Officer & Co-Founder

Dr. Casey Paleos is a board-certified psychiatrist and researcher with over 15 years of experience in psychedelic-assisted therapy.

Dr. Paleos was a principal investigator for MAPS' Phase III studies on MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD, and served as a therapist in the NYU Psilocybin Cancer Anxiety Study. He has offered ketamine therapy through his private practice since 2016.

He has trained hundreds of established and aspiring therapists on the subject of ketamine and psychedelic-assisted therapy.

Daniel Tisman

LCSW

Lead Clinical Faculty / Associate Clinical Director, Innermost Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Clinic.

Daniel Tisman is a psychotherapist, group facilitator, and clinical supervisor with a deep commitment to ethical, transformative care. He is a Qualified Gestalt Therapist and has been on faculty at the Gestalt Center for Psychotherapy and Training for over 15 years. Dan brings together decades of experience in trauma-informed psychotherapy, Gestalt practice, and non-ordinary states of consciousness. He is helping to shape Innermost’s vision, guide clinical training, and facilitate Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) groups rooted in self-compassion, inner inquiry, and integration. Daniel is also trained in IFS and is a KAP trained therapist through the Ketamine Training Center in a special KAP/IFS training with Phil Wolfson and Richard Schwartz.

His approach blends intuitive presence with rigorous therapeutic grounding, creating space for healing that is both expansive and deeply personal.

Dan’s leadership is shaped by his own long-standing contemplative practice and embodied wisdom traditions such as Qi Gong, yoga, and breathwork. He is especially passionate about supporting therapists as they deepen their capacity to hold psychedelic space with nuance, integrity, and relational attunement. At Innermost, Dan is helping to shape a clinic that honors each person’s unfolding—where science, soul, and community meet in service of healing.

Amanda Vogel

PMHNP-BC

Amanda is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with 17 years of clinical experience in hospital-based acute and emergency behavioral health. Her style has always been to approach her patients first from a place of compassion, humanistic regard, and intrinsic empathy.

In 2019, Amanda had an instrumental role in pioneering, designing, and operating the ketamine infusion service for psychiatric inpatients at New York-Presbyterian Hospital / Weill Cornell Medical Center. Inspired by the potential of ketamine to catalyze deep healing, she shifted her primary focus to working with this medicine in an outpatient setting.

Seeking to integrate the more all-encompassing realm of psychedelic therapy, Amanda joins InnerMost as Clinical Nurse Manager.

Dr. William Berk

ER Doctor

Dr. William Berk is an emergency medicine physician, assistant professor of medicine, and researcher in psychedelic-assisted therapy. Beyond his academic and clinical background, he also serves as a guide, sound meditation and breathwork facilitator, and spiritual seeker based in New York City.

Deeply fascinated by the intersection of community, joy, altered states of consciousness, and healing, Dr. Berk weaves together meditative, holistic, and evidence-based approaches to foster profound connection to the collective human experience.

He is currently a provider at Nautilus Sanctuary, a New York–based nonprofit center for research, practice, and training in psychedelic-assisted therapy. He holds certifications from Fluence, the IFS Institute, the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine, OSHO International, and Embodied Masculine.

In his personal practice, he draws from Kriya, Hatha, and Kundalini yoga, OSHO Active Meditations, sound meditation, Vipassana, and Buddhist traditions, among other contemplative disciplines.

Miles

Therapist & Strategic Lead

Miles bridges contemplative practice with trauma therapy and psychedelic care. With over 10,000 hours of training in mind-body disciplines, he brings a combination of clinical depth, strategic insight, and contemplative experience to his role. He holds graduate degrees in Social Work (Columbia) and Applied Positive Psychology (U Penn), and is trained in IFS, AEDP, MDMA-assisted therapy (MAPS), and ketamine-assisted therapy (PRATI). He’s also been a study therapist at NYU’s Center for Psychedelic Medicine.

Before entering the clinical world, Miles spent years in intensive Buddhist practice—including two years in solitary retreat—and is certified to teach both CCT and CBCT (compassion-based programs from Stanford and Emory respectively). He co-founded Dharma Gates, a nonprofit helping young people access serious meditation training, and is on the core team behind Madrona Meditation, a new meditation / therapy app. At the company, Miles helps shape the culture, drives various strategic initiatives, and manages partnerships while also offering direct clinical care to clients.
